Today the first thing we did is go to the Taste of Chicago. We actual tried the food this time. It wasn’t bad. i tried a weird food at a Latin Indian booth that was set up… that was to many contrasting tastes for me. We found the start of route 66 on a street next to the taste. That is where we started to drive and wind in and out of streets fallowing the original route.
All along the street there would be signs saying that we still on the route. We also had a map that told us what streets to go on since other streets were made to bypass the route.
For the first official eatery on the route we went to a place called The Launching Pad. me and my dad both got ittalian beef. it wassent to bad.
Then i fell asleep in the car again and woke up at the hotel.
